Terms
Last updated: 26 October 2026
These terms apply to TeamSync, provided by Top Matrix, and to this website. By using TeamSync you agree to them. Your company may also have a separate agreement with us; where it says something different, that agreement wins.
Accounts
- TeamSync is used by companies. Each company is an Organization with a licence, and its General Manager invites people. There is no public sign-up.
- An invitation link works once and for seven days, and each person who joins uses a seat.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account. Tell your General Manager or us at once if you think someone else has used it.
The licence
- Your company’s licence sets the number of seats and Projects, and may set limits on issues and storage (10 GB to start, and up to 50 MB of attachments on one issue).
- When a licence ends, the Organization becomes read-only: everyone can still read and export, nobody can change anything. If an Organization is suspended, its people cannot use TeamSync until it is reactivated.
Your data stays yours
Everything your company puts into TeamSync (issues, comments, views, snapshots and files) belongs to your company. We use it only to run TeamSync for you, as our Privacy policy describes.
You can export any issue list as a CSV file at any time.
Fair use
Do not try to reach another company’s data, get round the Roles your company set, overload the service or reverse-engineer it, or use it for anything unlawful. To keep the service healthy, the number of sign-ins, comments, issues and uploads per hour is limited.
We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, and we will tell your General Manager why.
Our software
TeamSync, its add-ins for Revit and Navisworks, the web app and this website belong to Top Matrix. Your licence lets your company’s people use them while it lasts.
Revit and Navisworks are trademarks of Autodesk. TeamSync is not made or endorsed by Autodesk.
Availability and changes
We work to keep TeamSync running and your data safe, with regular backups, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable. We may improve or change features; we will not remove something your company relies on without telling the General Manager first.
Liability
TeamSync helps teams coordinate. It does not replace professional judgement: decisions about a design, a model or a building stay with the people responsible for them. As far as the law allows, Top Matrix is not liable for indirect losses arising from the use of TeamSync.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top and tell General Managers before the change takes effect.
